Photographing Kyle and Abby’s wedding provided MUCH emotion, laughter, pretty details, warm sun and a lot of great memories to kick off our first wedding of the season. It was also the first wedding my team member Tori shot with me! We had a blast bouncing ideas off of one another and road-tripping to William Penn Inn. Pretty sure we filled an entire page on twitter with hilarious moments from the day, some of my favorites were:
“I don’t think I’ve ever heard “shots, shots, shots, SHOTS, SHOTS, shots” played/danced to so loudly in my life”- meg; “Dear coat-check lady at William Penn, @toriradick and I love you.”-meg (she literally was the sweetest ever);“No matter what, when shooting a wedding and a groomsmen asks how old you are… Always say 12.”-tori (because it never fails, they always ask you to dance with them); “Ring-bearer upfront, mid-ceremony: “abbbby, are ya nervous?” #priceless -meg; “To the man sitting in the car next to us, pick your nose and eat it once, I’ll let it go. Pick your nose and eat it twice…”-tori; “I still can’t get over the fact that I witnessed a grown man, pick his nose and eat it. Twice. In open public. #amurica -meg ….
Kyle and Abby were so sweet. Some of my favorite moments to their day was Abby’s little ways of incorporating her Father into their special day. She had his ashes in her necklace, a piece of his favorite shirt sewn into her dress, and a photo of him attached to her flower bouquet. The whole day was so sentimental and special. Some other favorite moments was Kyles reaction when he first saw Abby coming down the isle; the way he cried in memory of Abbys father as if it was his own father; Abby and Kyles sweet dance moves when they were announced into the receptionp; and Kyles luring dance for Abby during the garter game. haha. It was an all around FUN day of happiness, and fun evening of celebration. (:
Enjoy a peek into the beautiful wedding of two beautiful people!

These girls were so much fun to photograph! Here at Meagan Nicole Photography we’ve decided to offer a special deal: BEST-FRIEND SHOOTS! 30 minutes, $50. It’s proven to be super fun and people end up with some sweet new Facebook profile pics with their closest friends! How could you say no to that!? Jenna (the one with the sweet glasses and signature bun) is a budding photographer herself and we’ve followed one another on Instagram for awhile now. When she contacted me to set one of these sessions up I was super pumped! We met up at a local park by my house and had a blast laughing and photographing beautiful friendships. Jenna, Hannah and Sarah – friendship is so crucial and special. Keep a tight hold on it, cherish it and keep being the fun-loving, smiley girls you are. (:

Sean and I play together on the worship team at my church and the night he came in and told us all that he was engaged, I basically peed myself with excitement. But, I’m a girl and we’re allowed to have those moments. The night of Sean and Camille’s engagements, we headed over to Sean’s parent’s huge backyard which was AWESOME! Towards the middle of our shoot, Sean headed inside to grab a blanket and when he came back out, his dogs made their great escape! The two kept finding a way to sneak into our photos so, in many of the images, I’m actually petting the dogs with one hand and taking the photo with other (I know, impressive.) All in all, it was a perfect night with beauuuutiful weather, cackles and one super sweet couple. Check out these two models!

Tori and I are so excited to be kicking off this new blog series! Every Tuesday (life-and-weather-permitting) we will be sharing a fun blog post with you involving our latest adventure, craft, recipe trial, or anything else clever that we are up to. We’re calling it.. Tuesdays With The Team! This Tuesday we are sharing our little, quirky adventure from last night with you. We got so pumped about the non-rainy-sunny-weather so we had this brilliant idea to have a picnic by the lake and mess around with photos at sunset buuut, by the time we got our smoothies/salads it was a bit tight on time to get to the lake. So instead, we improvised and drove around to the first random field we spotted that looked note worthy. We learned two lessons: 1. Drinking smoothies while shivering kind of sucks and 2. eating salad with mittens on proves to be rather difficult. So instead, we snapped some fun pictures and had our picnic in the car. It was divine.
We have a lot of fun ideas stored up for this series and we can’t wait to begin! Have anything fun you’d like us to try? Comment below with any ideas and we’ll put them to the test (you could even join if you’d like) and we’ll feature it on one of our next Tuesdays With The Team!
Happy Tuesday Y’all!
