Daryl and Bri has such a fun wedding day! Their entire bridal party was so energetic and silly, which made for the most personable moments through out their day. The dancing, the toasts, the reception entrances.. don’t even get me started on those! Each “couple” had a unique entrance planned out with costumes and all. It was amazing.
This was my first bride/groom portraits that I photographed in downtown Lancaster City! We walked all around some of my go to streets and spots and it turned out to be so awesome. The lighting was killer that day! Most of all I just loved seeing how much Daryl loved Bri, and how much Bri loved Daryl. They’re truly best friends and make one another light up inside, which lights up the entire room they’re in. This day was such a joy to be a part of!
Here are a few of my favorite’s from their wedding this past June!

This was the first wedding I photographed at Brasen Hill Mansion and let me just say, it did not disappoint! The grounds are beautiful, filled with lots of possibilities for ceremony and reception sights as well as endless photo possibilities. All of the staff was so, so friendly and treated all of us vendors so well! I especially loved the girls room inside the mansion. It was filled with so much great natural light and vintage styled decor. Ryan and Adrienne tied the knot this past April 16th, 2016 and I just had to go back and re-share some of my favorites from their wedding day.

Every time that I get to photograph at Lauxmont Farms I am on cloud nine. This venue has so many different location options with rolling hills, horses, water, and scenery beyond scenery. You might remember Josh and Carolyn from this past January.. my blizzard wedding! If you missed it, have no fear! You can view HERE. A kind of fun tid bit: Carolyn was pregnant at their wedding on January 23rd, and had their little bundle of joy on July 9th, 2016! And now, one year later I am due with MY little man on January 20th. Last year I was shooting a wedding in a blizzard, and this year I will be giving birth to my son. Hopefully NOT in a blizzard, ha! Life is just too cool sometimes.
Since their wedding day got a little switched around with the pregnancy and blizzard, Carolyn and Josh decided to have an intimate wedding in January, and a big ole party with all of their friends this past May. We couldn’t stop laughing over their luck with weather. First they had their wedding on the COLDEST day of the year, and then their reception landed on our first HOTTEST day of the day. It goes to show that no matter how unpredictable life is, these two are the kinds of people you want by your side in those moments. Josh and Carolyn never seemed phased. They were always so laid back, friendly, warm and fun. I’m a big fan of these two!
Also, this was the first wedding of the year that I photographed (knowingly) pregnant, so I’m going to blame it on the hormones, but does this food not look amazing!? I’m pretty sure I was like “GIVE ME ALL THE CHEEESE” to Jordan, my assistant for the day. And a taco bar? How fun! Love when couples fill their events with personable, fun touches.
Here are a few of my favorites from my time with them at their reception this past Spring!

A few nights ago I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely new senior, Andrea! I grew up in church with Andrea and her family when I was younger, so it was so great getting to see her again and see how much she’s grown! All of a sudden she’s a young lady and not a teenybopper running around with the junior high clicks! How the hang does life move so dang fast. Andrea, you’re beautiful inside and out! It was such a treat photographing your senior portraits! Have a blast this new school year! Live it up, make loads of memories, snap tons of photographs and give everything you do your all.
Until next time folks | Meagan
