I have been jumping in my seat with anticipation ever since I photographed James and Caroline’s wedding last Summer to share these images! This was a pretty big wedding for me for a few reasons. It was my first wedding of the 2015 season that I got to use my new camera (which has since, changed my life. Dear canon 5D mark iii, you’re a game changer)! It was also the first wedding I had booked in 2014 for one of my larger packages, heyo! Julia, who was my intern in 2014 became my team member in 2015 and second shot this dream of a day with me! It was the first wedding we shot together after Julia’s wedding last year, so it was an all around happy day!
This was my first time photographing at White Chimeys Estate and I can’t say enough good things about the staff + this venue. The lighting in each room was so amazing, the property opportunities are endless and gorgeous and the staff was super friendly and happy to help whenever and where ever needed! Brides, if you’re still on the hunt for a venue make sure to check them out!
Caroline’s dress was from BHLDN, basically the prettiest store ever to exist. Stacia from Petals With Style NAILED it with the florals. The blush/cream color combos mixed with the warm summer sun and deep green grass/foliage was beyond perfect for James and Caroline’s romantic, whimsical day. And that flower crown! Man. It deserves all of the heart eyes.
James and Caroline have been together more years than the fingers on your hands can count. They are the peanut butter to one another’s jelly, the milk to the oreo cookie, the.. well you get the picture! They sharpen one another, compliment one another in all of the right ways and now, they complete each other. It was such a beautiful love commitment to be a part of. And they’ve even just shared some pretty big and stinkin’ exciting news! James and Caroline are expecting their first child!!! This babe is bound for some gorgeous locks, breathtaking eyes and the sweetest of souls. Everyone in James and Caroline’s family made Julia and I feel so welcomed and special. They were all so kind and just.. happy! It was the most joyous of days down to the every last element and detail. Also, holy dancing. This was prrrobably the biggest dance party I had been a part of! They weren’t messin’ around. There were so many personable elements through out the reception that made it feel so fun and entertaining and the least bit stiff or boring. One of my favorite parts was when James surprised everyone and popped his head out from under Caroline’s dress three times (during the garter game) and had three different masks and “characters” on each time, HA! It created a loud roar of applause from their guests. These two made their wedding day very “them” and it was priceless.
I’ll stop swooning over this day and finally let you swoon for yourself over the images! Enjoy!
It was such an absolute pleasure to photograph Greg and Candace one week before their February wedding. Candace had contacted me to set up a styled elopement in the woods one week before their wedding day. As soon as she sent me her pinned inspiration I knew this was going to be magical! My good friends and videographers Kent and Ashleigh Mast of Kent Mast Photo & Video joined in this collaboration and it was an all out beautiful time. We had so much fun exploring Pinnacle Overlook during sunset! Greg and Candace even ended the evening reading their wedding vows to one another and every single one of us had teary eyes. It was such a neat moment!
Greg had been previously married for seventeen years, and Candace was previously married for fifteen years. Both of their spouses left them at the thirteenth year of marriage. Through their individual trials they both unknowingly held onto the same verse of Scripture for assurance that The Lord was still present. Here are some of their words:
“Through our trials SO much good has come. God has taken us through the desert, we’ve learned huge life lessons and this marriage is a promise, blessing and a huge celebration for our families who have seen us through it. Our kids are excited and we are grateful to give them a Godly example of marriage.” (Candace has two sons, and Greg has a daughter.)
I am so in love with this couple, the video that Kent and Ashley captured and these images.
This blog post has been a long time coming. Dylan and Nina are two of my oldest and closest high school friends. To hear more about their high school sweet heart story click here to view their engagement session. Nina and I planned our weddings two weeks apart, it was so much fun! Literally all of my girl friends and I got married together last year and it made everything so memorable. So many coffee dates at barnes and nobles, looking through wedding magazines, planning out what all we could share decor wise, and helping one another make our visions come to life.
Dylan and Nina’s wedding was one of a kind, elegant, whimsical and so beautiful. Their venue “Regents Glen Country Club – Box Hill Mansion” was breathtaking! A tall waterfall, acres and acres of field and trees and gardens; a cool breeze and a golden sunset with pink and gold decor to top it all off. I just can’t even.
One of my favorite moments of this day was when Nina’s maid of honor Courtney delivered a letter from Dylan before the ceremony. Low and behold, Dylan surprised Nina by fulfilling her life long dream of getting a PUPPY. Yes, this groom got his bride a puppy as a wedding gift. WHAT. It was pretty epic, and Nina’s reaction was priceless; full of tears, shock, smiles and happy dancing.
Nina shared a first look with her bridesmaids + her father, both which were emotional and adorable. This magical day was filled with lots of happy tears and special moments. I am so excited to finally be sharing it with you all!
xoxo, Meagan Nicole

I couldn’t be more excited to share Justin and Karlee’s wedding day with you all. First off, I’ve known Karlee ever since 8th grade and we’ve been best buds ever since. That’s about 9+ years of friendship! The minute I met Justin I knew he was the one for Karlee. They compliment one another so well and balance each other out perfectly. My husband Caleb instantly connected with Justin and now we’re just the happiest group of friends that ever met. It’s great.
I shot this wedding two days after getting home from my honeymoon, so a blissful-love-high was in full swing. Justin and Karlee had such dreamy weather. Can we just take in that sunset!?t Their venue Harvest View Barn couldn’t have been better suited with all of it’s wide open fields and luxurious hills. And Talia, the little photogenic flower girl. I can’t even. One of the neatest touches to their cocktail hour was something I’ve never seen before.. an iced coffee bar! Seriously so perfect and so yummy. Both Justin and Karlee were so excited and full of love which made the entire day so fun and special. HUGE shout out to my girl Maddie Broderick who was my second shooter for this day. There’s a handful of her images featured below! She always steps up and shoots along side of me so well. Well, I can’t even rave about this day enough. I’m literally swooning over these images for days. Join me!
Where do I even begin with this beautiful couple. I first met Morgan a few years back at The Fire And Ice Festival hosted in my quaint town Lititz! Morgan was working at the Rachels Crepes food truck and when I went up to give my order I was mesmerized by her gorgeous ring and sweet tattoos. I just had this feeling that I needed to give her a business card. At the time, I wasn’t very bold in self advertising and for the first time ever, I gathered up all of the nerves inside of me to ask if she’d found a wedding photographer yet. When she told me she hadn’t it took everything in me not to break out in a crazy happy dance of sheer excitement. I gave her my card and low and behold – she hired me! Last Summer she also had my work featured in at Rachel’s Crepes cafe which was so cool. If you have not tried Rachels Crepes before, you don’t even know what life is.
Dandon and Morgan are two of the sweetest, funniest, hippest people I know. It felt like I was at a friends wedding the entire day! That’s the best feeling as a photographer. Being an avid Lancaster City hopper it was so fun seeing so many familiar faces! I didn’t know anyone personally but I recognized SO MANY FACES. All those cool people you see working at the cafe’s, clubs, thrift shops, food trucks, boutiques.. you name them, they were all there. Morgan did such a fabulous job at thrifting all of her decor! Cups, plates, table cloths, her dress! Everything was decked out to perfection and whatever wasn’t thrifted was DIY. It was the perfect spring blend of colors and florals. OH man, those florals. I was on serious detail overload. I still to this day, wish I could go back and have five hours for the detail shots alone. Stefani Burket did an amazing job on Morgans hair and makeup. I love the unique bohemian meets vintage glamor that Morgan and Stefani accomplished. And that head piece? Drooling. Family was so important to these two which is why one of my favorite moments was during the ceremony when Morgans brother walked her down the aisle in his Navy Blues. Such a sweet moment. Another “sweet” moment was the dessert table (see what I did there?). It was decked out in heavenly tasting Lancaster Cupcake yummies. My mouth literally melted. Also, can I just say how freaking awesome of an idea it was to have two of their favorite, local food trucks at the reception for the food/meal and snacks all night!? Souvlaki Boys and Baron Von Schwein. That was a first for me and I am a total fan. Both were so delicious but I am forever obsessed with Baron Von Schwein now and if you haven’t experienced their goodness yet you need to get on that. Lauxmont Farms was as dreamy as ever with it’s rolling hills, horses, cobblestone courtyard and the warm, soft, pink-hued sunset that fell over all of the fields. Glory!
Julia and I had the best day ever photographing this wedding and we are so, so, so excited to share it with you! What is your favorite detail about this wedding?
It’s finally time to share all of the beautiful weddings I shot in 2014 with you! I’ve known Justin and Alyssa for years since we all went to high school together. If you haven’t seen their sunny engagement session you should check it out here. This wedding was so fun. Alyssa looked beautiful in her off white, lace-tule dress. It was the perfectly pink and gold detailed day and the dance party at the end was on point. Lauxmont Farms Cobblestone Courtyard is one of my favorite locations (luckily I got to photograph there a few times in 2014)!
This was one of my first wedding’s of the year! Crazy. It’s always so fun to look back and see how different my editing style and eye has grown in one year. I’m still so excited about these images and can’t wait to see what you all think.

Chris and Rebecca tied the knot on a sunny, bright day in Philadelphia! We started out at their new apartment with the girls which was AMAZING with all of it’s open white walls + natural light. Rebecca’s vintage inspired dress was so dreamy and beautiful, I couldn’t get enough of it. They held their ceremony and reception at “2424 Studios” which was so urban and cool with all of the exposed brick and big windows!
My second shooter Maddie and I had such a great time adventuring all around the town photographing/getting to know Chris and Rebecca. It felt like we were photographing celebrities the way pedestrians would stop and stare, holler, whistle and wave their hands at the newly married couple.
Chris and rebecca are both such sweet people and compliment one another so well. It was a joy to be a part of their special day! Here are some of my favorite images from their day!
