We’ve always had such a great turn out with our holiday mini shoots and look forward to them each year! This has been the busiest season yet for our team, so we decided to try something a little different! Normally we set aside 3-4 dates with a limited amount of spots open to book a mini session with us! This year we decided to offer a mini session package with dates available upon request based on our availability and at the location of your choice! We do have a handful of recommendations for great locations, but would love to use the location of your choice. All we ask is that it is within 20 miles of our home address.
This will be the perfect opportunity to get some new shots for Christmas cards, gifts, or just to spruce up the old facebook page! Details below! 🙂

Drew and Tucker are two of the cutest little boys, and I’m not just being biased because they’re my cousins! I love when I get to photograph them and how they’ve grown each year. They’re so adventurous and silly. Drew has a pocket full of funny faces he likes to whip out, and Tucker is obsessed with digging in the dirt, picking grass and eating sticks. We had such a fun afternoon playing at Longs Park. Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together!

So remember that time Tori and I posted our first TWTT? Well, we’re back in action! Katherine, Julia and I wanted to share a few quick photos we snapped at our team picnic from yesterday. Some weeks we may have a fun craft, recipe or adventure to share so you can all keep up with us in our personal lives in between the brilliant sessions and weddings we will be posting! I am so excited about these two girls and the stories their hearts have to share. It was so fun meeting at Longs Park, collaborating a fun little meal, talking about photography/the business and just chatting about life and what’s going on for all of us. I’m also so glad the weather is deciding to take a break from the rain and give us some nice sunshine!
Enjoy our little picnic while I head back to editing for the day!

I first met the Schantz family through my fiance, Caleb. His best friend Kent has a brother named Randy (who is married to Anna). Anna and I had gotten to know one another through facebook/IG and then later on some of Calebs campfires. We bonded over our mutual appreciation for photography; well, and their super adorable daughter Mela. Anna contacted me to do a family/maternity session for them AND their best friends .. the Lapps (Tim, Morgan and Noah)! I was a little anxious about how this was going to since I’d never done two separate families at once before but holy cheese balls was it amazing. Both families were so laid back and fun! And on top of that the weather was beyond picture perfect. The trees mixed with the warm sun glowing through..mm. My happy place. Mela and Noah are basically destined to get married.. and I’m pretty sure they’re already boyfriend + girlfriend in the cutest, most innocent way possible.
I think my favorite part of the session was when Noah leaned in to give Mela a kiss and she leaned back like “WHATCHU DOIN BOY..my dads watchin”. But then a second later changed her mind and let him kiss her (maybe dad was looking away then)- HA! These people were such a joy to be around! It makes my job so awesome when the families are so fun-loving and keep me on my toes with their jokes and down-to-earth attitudes. I honestly didn’t want the night to end .. and that’s always a good thing! Enjoy!
