Okay you guys, get ready to witness one of the cutest little girls with the biggest brown eyes on this planet. Aurelia is bound to be a model or just a super photogenic, adorable person when she grows up! I couldn’t get enough of her cuteness. I have loved getting to know this family! In 2015 I photographed James + Caroline’s wedding which just so happen’s to be Aurelia’s aunt. Aurelia was still in her mama’s belly for those photos! Last Winter I got to meet the little peanut as a newborn, and now this Fall got to celebrate her first birthday with these fun photographs!

When Graham and Sarah decided they wanted to go above and beyond in their wedding package/experience with us, we knew it was going to be a ton of fun to work with them to bring their dreams to life! You’ve seen our wicked stylist Kelsey Courtney of Style By Rae work her magic at a few of our portrait sessions and she always add’s so much wonderful to every shoot that she styles, so we decided to start offering a wedding package that includes her services for a engagement session!
Kelsey worked with Sarah to help style her three different outfits, props, and photo ideas. We started out with a fun little walk through the woods scene including their adorable little pup. Kelsey even thought to add in a fun hat for some variation. Graham and Sarah are the truest definition of candy lovers, so for their second scene they wanted to emulate their fun loving personalities mixed with their love for candy. What better way then to make some cotton candy pops! One of my favorite aspects to this session was Kelsey’s “picnic scene” she put so much thought and work into. She found a vintage picnic basket, the perfect IKEA blanket, and grabbed all the yummy necessities for a delicious picnic at Central Market! She sliced and diced her magic and even managed to grab a bottle of the couples favorite wine! Mmm. For our last “scene” Kelsey made the most beautiful flower crown, and we danced away the sunlight in the lake for some silhouette images.
I’ve definitely learned that when working together on a styled shoot with Kelsey, I need to allow myself WAY more time at a session because I could just shoot all day when she brings her magic to the table. It’s such a fun way to add personality and a story to your session!

Tyler and Tina were such a fun pair to photograph! We risked getting caught in a crazy storm for their photos and we’re so happy we did! They were so easy to get along with, were willing to do anything for a great shot, and brought ICE CREAM. I’m especially glad they brought along their canoe. It’s always the best when couples bring an item or prop that’s true to who they are as a couple or that represents them and/or their relationship well. I am so excited to photograph their October wedding!

Jim and Karen are effortless together. It’s constant smiles, kisses, hugs, and heart eyes with these two! When you’re around them you can just sense how they light one another up. Also, can we just take a moment to swoon over Karen’s long locks? Seriously! Pretty sure I asked her a billion times if she’d gift it to me, haha. It was so much fun hiking into the woods of Middlecreek to capture some snowy engagement photos for them! They even brought along some hot chocolate and the cutest aztec blanket ever. Here are some of my favorites!

I had always heard about this sweet Kayce Shoffner, and what a talented photographer she was, but had never had the chance to meet her. The Shoffner’s had planned their annual trip to disney and we decided it would probably be a pretty cool idea to capture their family in the sunshine state and how glad I am that we did! Kayce and Brett are just about the sweetest people and not to mention, the coolest parents to their two cuties. We ventured all around downtown Winter Garden, collected rocks, picked oranges from a bitty tree and collected just about every stick in town, or at least Avery did. How fun to have a job that brings such fun moments and nights into our lives.
Enjoy!

I am so excited to finally be blogging Jenna’s senior portraits! She is one sweet, stylish, photogenic girl. The glorious sunshine and wheat fields weren’t too shabby either. Jenna is also a young, aspiring photographer with quite the eye for creativity! It was such an honor photographing her. Enjoy a few of my favorite images from our time together!

You guys. Does this session even need a blog post with it!? I mean, holy cow. Look at this girl! She is gorgeous from the inside out. These are hands down some of my favorite images I took in 2014. Kaylisha braved the severe cold and harsh wind to rock these shots. And let me tell you, she definitely rocked them. Ah, I love senior sessions. This was one of those “I feel totally reinspired and motivated creatively” sessions. The edit, the subject, the location, the cotton candy sunset. I can’t even. The awesome factor is real.

Brian and Megan are two of the sweetest, funnest people! They drove from West Chester to walk around Downtown Lititz with me and photograph the afternoon away! Literally. We had a blast getting to know one another. We ended the evening at Middlecreek, a local hiking spot and lake (one of my all time favorite spots ever). These two get along so well, laugh it up, and are so intentional with their conversation. I felt like we’d been friends for awhile! Though it was a little chilly, these two rocked the shots. Here are some of my favorites! Enjoy!

Matt and Ariel are two of the funnest, sweetest, cutest couples I’ve ever met. This was one of those sessions that I just couldn’t put my camera down! I love when my job allows me to push past “the normal”; when I can feel myself enter into a place of creativity flooding my being. It’s such an amazing feeling and I’m so honored my clients choose to let me in their life for special occasions to create special memories. It’s not just about the actual pose or photograph. It’s about how you felt when taking that photograph. The smells, the songs you favored that time in your life, the feeling of laughing and kissing the one you’re in love with, newly engaged preparing for your wedding, all those kinds of things. And then I get to step in and document creative photographs to embody that time in your life, for you to look back on and always remember those memories. AH. It’s so awesome.
This session was one that completely re-motivated and inspired me last year and has me so excited for all of my 2015 weddings and couples. Matt and Ariel instantly felt like friends and were just so darn photogenic. Though it’s super hard to choose, I think my favorite shot is the black and white holding hands image. Which is yours!?

This past Summer since Tori was working/living at Disney World, I had the honor of photographing Ryan and Alyssa’s engagement photos for her! Tori and her boyfriend Tyler are good friends of Alyssa and Ryans which makes it even sweeter. We are all heading out to Colorado in June to photograph their wedding and we couldn’t be more excited! It was so much fun meeting these two! We talked about their up-coming wedding and shared lots about our common love for the great West, all the while our legs got attacked by mosquitoes but it’s okay, the photos were totally worth it. Looking back on this session I am day dreaming hard about warm summer evenings..it’s so close I can almost taste it! Here are a few of my favorites from our time together! 🙂
