A few weeks ago my sister spotted a new wild flower field beside my parents house and texted me to grab some shots of her and her boyfriend in it. By now, you’ve probably seen everyone and their mother posting photos here! It’s quickly become a favorite spot for local photographers and flower feens. I was so pumped to shoot at a new, “unknown” location, evvvvven if it was only going to remain unknown for point five seconds, HA!
I’m obsessed with these perfect golden hour images. Which is your favorite!?

It was such an absolute pleasure to photograph Greg and Candace one week before their February wedding. Candace had contacted me to set up a styled elopement in the woods one week before their wedding day. As soon as she sent me her pinned inspiration I knew this was going to be magical! My good friends and videographers Kent and Ashleigh Mast of Kent Mast Photo & Video joined in this collaboration and it was an all out beautiful time. We had so much fun exploring Pinnacle Overlook during sunset! Greg and Candace even ended the evening reading their wedding vows to one another and every single one of us had teary eyes. It was such a neat moment!
Greg had been previously married for seventeen years, and Candace was previously married for fifteen years. Both of their spouses left them at the thirteenth year of marriage. Through their individual trials they both unknowingly held onto the same verse of Scripture for assurance that The Lord was still present. Here are some of their words:
“Through our trials SO much good has come. God has taken us through the desert, we’ve learned huge life lessons and this marriage is a promise, blessing and a huge celebration for our families who have seen us through it. Our kids are excited and we are grateful to give them a Godly example of marriage.” (Candace has two sons, and Greg has a daughter.)
I am so in love with this couple, the video that Kent and Ashley captured and these images.

I met Cassi on my first day of Disney training and it’s really quite comical to see how our friendship has evolved. The first day that we ever hung out, we went to the Millenia mall where I told her of this trick I had just learned while buying underwear. I was told to wrap it around your neck and that it will be sure to fit so I proceeded to test out this theory right there in the Victoria’s Secret. As I am doing this, Cass walks away, both red in the face and hysterically laughing. After about 30 minutes of not being able to find her, I was convinced that I had been ditched. After what seemed like an eternity, I ended up finding her and told her that I thought I had been left because she figured out how weird I was and then she proceeded to laugh even harder. I’m not sure why, but meeting Cassi, I felt completely comfortable and myself from the start, making weird jokes and all. As it turns out she liked it, and now she’s my roommate and stuck with me. Oh and in case you were wondering, the underwear trick is a success! You’re welcome. Cassi’s boyfriend, Tim came for a visit and we all took a trip to Lake Eola park in downtown Orlando. It was a pretty fancy place with a city line view and swans and DUCKS galore so I was in heaven.
Check out these two lovebirds and our adventure!

I am so excited to share these images with you all! Bethany has been one of my best friends ever since 8th grade when we met on the school bus and started going to school together (so like, 10+ years). We also happen to be neighbors, fellow-country-lovers, girls-night-fanatics, hiking/adventure partners, AND.. one anothers bridesmaids. Beth is like a sister to me and has filled my memory jar with countless funny, serious, crazy memories. I’m pretty sure she knows more about me than anyone else; she’s become one of those people to me that you hope are always in your life. We’ve been through hook-ups, break-ups, and make-ups with one another.. we’ve seen each other at our worst with guys and at our best. We’ve laughed together, and cried together. Being through all of that together makes it all the more sweet to see someone you care so much about FINALLY getting their “fairytale”, their Mr. Right, their true love. I can’t think of anyone who is more deserving of this.
When Chris started talking to me about his proposal plans I wanted to have a giggle-fest with Beth (but obviously couldn’t)! The minute she texted me the exciting news I pretty much exploded! I don’t think I could’ve kept the happy news a secret from her much longer! Chris, you’re such a sweet, hard-working, kind, humble, loyal, trust-worthy, loving man! Those characteristics shine through you with only a few times of hanging out. I truly believe that the way a man treats a girl is reflected in how she carries herself – and I have never seen Bethany more happy, confident, alive and glowing than she is now with you in her life. I can’t wait to get to know you more throughout the years. Bring on the married-double-dates!
We started off our session at the farm Bethany boards her horse at and finished up on the farm that Chris and his family owns/runs. The sun was magical and I couldn’t have asked for cuter subjects to “shoot”.
Bethany, you got your southern-country-cowboy-cutie you’ve always prayed for! YAY! Enjoy these images I captured from our time together!
